Please complete the form below if you are interested in being contacted about research studies being done by the Queen’s Genomics Lab at Ongwanada (Q-GLO) and the Queen’s Partnership on Neurodevelopment (Q-POND) through the Department of Psychiatry at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Q-GLO/Q-POND has many studies available to participate in both locally and remotely that involves individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Anxiety, and Depression (we are also inviting participants without these diagnoses to participate as control participants).

After you fill out the contact form below, a member of our research team will contact you by phone or email to tell you more about the studies that we are doing that you may be eligible for. These include:

  • Gut-brain study:
    • Summary: provide a stool sample and complete a questionnaire and return by courier to our lab and you will receive a $10 gift card.
    • Study Group: diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression
    • Age: 2 years of age or older
    • Location: anywhere in Ontario
  • Province of Ontario Neurodevelopmental Disorders (POND) Network:
    • Summary: comprehensive study visit including assessments, genetics, immune, endocrinology, brain imaging, interviews, questionnaires. A $50 gift certificate is provided upon completion of the study ($25 for the participant and $25 for their parent/guardian)
    • Study Group: diagnosis ASD, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Fragile X Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, plus Typically Developing participants
    • Age: 6-21 years old
    • Location: Kingston area (at Queen’s) but study is available at other POND sites in Toronto, Hamilton, and London.
  • POND ASD Clinical Trial:
    • Summary: Pharmacological clinical trial to investigate the use of Arbaclofen for improving social function. Participants will receive a small token of appreciation each visit in the form of a $20 gift card.
    • Study Group: ASD
    • Age: 5-17 years old
    • Location: Kingston area (at Queen’s) but study is available at other POND sites in Toronto, Hamilton, and London.
  • Q-GLO Genetics and Epigenetics Studies
    • Summary: Q-GLO has novel genetics studies that may involve a blood sample (taken at our lab in Kingston or at a Life Labs location nearest you) and/or a saliva sample (which can be mailed).
    • Study Group: ASD, ADHD, Intellectual Disability
    • Age: any age
    • Location: within Ontario
  • Research Registry:
    • Summary: Participants can join our Research Registry so that they can be contacted about additional studies they may be eligible to participate in. These are studies conducted by our lab or by our collaborators in the Department of Psychiatry at Queen's University.
    • Study Group: any neurodevelopmental, neuropsychiatric, or mental health disorder and neurotypical controls
    • Age: any age
    • Location: within Ontario
